College Basketball Weekend Viewing Guide

Looking for other College Basketball Games to watch in addition to the Auburn game? I’ve got you covered!

NCAA Basketball: Marquette at Kansas State
Markus Howard - Marquette
Scott Sewell-USA TODAY Sports

Are you lamenting on what to watch on this weekend that the College Football season is for all intents and purposes over? Look no further than here to see what College Basketball has to offer this weekend! I tried to pick games that were not scheduled while Auburn is playing because I’m sure we’ll all be watching the Auburn game then.

#18 Florida State at #7 Louisville - 1PM, ESPN2

Once again, Leonard Hamilton has a good, underrated team in Tallahassee. This will be a huge test for the Seminoles heading to Louisville, a team coming off an OT loss at Kentucky. The Cardinals have the talent to make it to the Final Four and this is a fantastic game to get you ready to watch the Auburn game at 3:30.

#10 Villanova at Marquette - 1PM, FOX

Markus Howard is must-see TV and with Villanova in town, this is the kind of game Howard shines in. Howard averages 25.6 PPG and shoots 47% from 3-point range. He had 38 points last year when Villanova came to Milwaukee in a 1 point win. The Big East may be top to bottom the best league this season as teams who have spent a lot of time in the cellar recently, DePaul and Georgetown have gotten off to great starts this season.

Alabama at Florida - 5PM, ESPN2

Once you’re done watching the Auburn game, flip it over to ESPN2 to see 2 teams who Auburn will travel to in the next 2 weeks. While both teams combined for 9 losses in non-conference play, I think these are 2 of top 5 teams in the SEC and will both be tough games for Auburn on the 15th and 18th respectively.

#13 San Diego State at Utah State - 9PM, CBS Sports Network

I picked this game because it features the only other undefeated team going into a tough environment to face a Utah State team that was Preseason Top 25. The Aggies are coming off a bad loss at UNLV but Utah State has wins over LSU and Florida this season. Utah State needs this game badly for their at-large bid hopes and this will be one of the Aztecs toughest tests so far this season. Depending on how Auburn fares Saturday, the Aztecs could be the last unbeaten or with an Auburn win and San Diego State loss, it would make Auburn America’s last undefeated team.

#12 Michigan at #14 Michigan State - 12:30PM, CBS

The Big 10 have the best conference in America and it’s always a great game when these two teams face each other. Michigan was the talk of College Basketball after beating both Michigan and Gonzaga in Atlantis but have taken a couple of losses. Injuries have been the story for Preseason #1 Michigan State as they too have taken a couple of early season losses. This would be a big win for whoever wins this game.

There you have it. Happy viewing!
