This morning, we learned when Auburn Basketball would make their triumphant return to the court, as well as their opponent.
Source: Auburn will open the 20-21 college basketball season at home against North Alabama on November 10th.

This game will mark the collegiate debuts for newcomers Sharife Cooper, Chris Moore, Justin Powell and J.T. Thor.
The Lions and Tigers will meet for the 2nd time in program history, with their only meeting coming back in January 2015, an 82-61 Auburn win. This however will be the first time the schools play while UNA is a Division 1 school as the Lions moved up to the Atlantic Sun Conference and Division 1 back in the 2018-2019 season. North Alabama went 13-17 last season.
The game marks the first confirmed date on the Auburn Basketball, other than the Orlando Invitational, which will be held during Thanksgiving.
November 10 - North Alabama
November 26-27, 29 - Orlando Invitational
Updated: December 22 - Murray State
This is the last of a 2 for 1 series between the schools that began in Murray during the 2017-2018 season. The 2nd game was also on December 22nd, back in 2018, in Auburn Arena. That game featured a Top 10 Auburn team versus the eventual 2nd pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Ja Morant. Auburn narrowly won the previous 2 games of this series.
This Racers team will be a veteran group led by junior guard Tevin Brown, a Fairhope native, and he will have plenty of weapons to go with him in a game that will certainly be a challenge right before the Christmas break for the Tigers.
TBD - South Alabama
TBD - at Washington
With 18 SEC games and 31 games total, this leaves 6 more spots left to fill on the non-conference schedule.
Personally, I love these games against in-state foes and wouldn’t mind seeing another one or two on the schedule.
