Betting Line: As of this writing, Georgia is a 14.5-point favorite, with the over/under set at 46.5 points overall.

Here we are, back in the car again. It’s going to take a few seasons before we all get used to the fact that Auburn and Georgia will be playing in October and not sometime during Amen Corner in November. Hey, it affords us a really nice home game at this point in the season ahead of the Iron Bowl to finish it up.

However, I’m not sure exactly how nice this game will be. You notice that over/under at only 46.5 points, it’s because Georgia’s allowed exactly 3 points to the two top ten teams they’ve played so far this year. I’m sure the oddsmakers are seeing this as a game that Auburn struggles through, but we know better. There’s a ton of Jordan-Hare magic left to work, and we only warmed it up against the other team from Georgia two Saturdays ago.

Now this team is focused and having fun, and Bo Nix is coming off the best game of his career in the win at LSU. The crowd will be electric, it’ll start to feel a bit nippy toward the end of the game, and celebrating an Auburn win during early fall... well, it doesn’t get any better than that. Especially with Aaron Murray on the broadcast crew, it’s time for us to make him remember 2010 in an unpleasant manner. Manifest a victory into reality, everyone!
