Auburn has never lost a conference game in College Station, TX. They’ve been an underdog in 3 of the 4 previous games, and they’re an underdog again today. Granted, the line has shifted from Aggies -7 earlier in the week all the way down to -4.5, so the public is heavy on the Tigers. Normally that’s a concern, but Auburn has been the better team to this point. Auburn appears to have the better quarterback. The total is down below 50, which gives this game a “first one to 21 wins” sort of feel.
This begins the “interesting November” that we long for. Auburn has a chance to have their say in who wins the Southeastern Conference in November. That’s a damn fine goal for a head coach in his first season with a quarterback not many people trusted just 4 games ago. So how do we think this one goes?
