We interrupt your hoop action to bring you breaking news on the recruiting trail. The Tigers have landed their long snapper of the future in Kyle Vaccarella.
My pretend expertise does actually have limits so instead of acting like I understand the intricacies of long snapping and why this is a big pickup, I’ll let folks that not a lot more break it down. Rubio Long Snapping has Vaccerlla rated as the #2 long snapper in the 2021 class and six star on their site. Here’s a quick rundown on two of his most recent performances at their camps:
Vaccarella had a wonderful day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on December 5th, 2020. He did so well that he ended up winning the whole camp! Handles pressure well and his form is excellent. Type of snapping motion that has basically no wasted movement. His ball gets out of the gate very quickly and he obviously has great accuracy / consistency. When Vaccarella snaps as hard as he can and follows through to the punter, he simply doesn’t miss. His frame is fantastic and he he looks like a college senior and not just a high school senior.
Vaccarella had a tremendous day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Boston on September 27th, 2020. He was the speed and overall champion which left no doubt he is one of the top Long Snappers in the country. Zero wasted movement and pure, raw power allow his ball to fly back to the punter. Ball is well under .75 on ac consistent basis plus he runs like the wind. He has all of the potential to be snapping a ball for a long, long time.
War Eagle Kyle!
