3-star LB Joko Willis was a standout at Troup County where he reportedly earned AJC All-State honors as both a linebacker and a wide receiver. He took the JUCO route following graduation in 2019 enrolling at Independence Community College, one of the top junior college programs in America.
Now he’s headed to the Plains.
This morning, the Lagrange, GA native officially signed with the Tigers.

AUNerd Scouting Report
A twitchy, versatile athlete, Willis displays outstanding closing speed. Despite playing a little thin, Willis flashes the ability to shed blocks and work through traffic to make plays. He played the SAM for Independence but has the frame to grow into a weak side inside linebacker for the Tigers after a year of strength training. A great athlete, Willis can cover sideline to sideline making it likely he will be able to find a way onto the field early in his career.
War Eagle Joko!
