Over the years, we’ve done different countdowns to kickoff (or tipoff). This year, we’re putting a twist on the classic “Best Auburn Player to Ever Wear Each Number” list. Football is all about lighting up the scoreboard in 2021, so let’s take a walk down memory lane and review the last time a player in each uniform number put up points.

#92 — Kenneth Carter, DT

Game - Auburn vs. Alabama, November 26, 2011

There are about 3 good highlights in this game. One was a pooch punt by Clint Moseley right before this that pins Alabama inside the 10. Then Corey Lemonier came off of AJ McCarron’s blind side and knocked the ball loose. Nosa Eguae couldn’t quite handle it to become the first #94 to ever score for Auburn, but Ken Carter could.

Marquis Burks might need to make a similar play to take Ken Carter off of the board. Here’s hoping he does it in a big moment in 2021.
