Auburn Running Back Peyton Barber Enters 2016 NFL Draft
BREAKING: Auburn running back makes surprising declaration for NFL Draft https://t.co/ILdMmmQefP
— Brandon Marcello (@bmarcello) January 18, 2016
This was a surprising move in some ways, but not so much in others. Barber ran for 1000 yards this season and likely won't get near as many carries next season in a crowded (and hopefully healthy) back field. Plus next year's NFL RB class is liable to be loaded. Granted, he still has two years of eligibility remaining (RS Sophomore), but this may be the smartest move for him. Barber was the difference in Auburn having a dismal season and having a mediocre season. In an offense filled with inconsistencies, he often put the team on his back and carried them. I will always hold him in high regard for the way he handled his time at Auburn.
Auburn OL Avery Young Will Enter NFL Draft
Just spoke to #Auburn OT @AveryYoung56. He tells me he's submitting his name for entry into the 2016 NFL Draft. pic.twitter.com/8yot4rNC9J
— Rand Getlin (@Rand_Getlin) January 13, 2016
There was some hope that Young would stay, but now it is official he is going pro. This will require some shuffling and adjustments on Auburn's line next season as the Tigers lose both tackles.

Brandon Fulse to Attend Chicago Bears Mini-Camp
Fort Meade alum and former Auburn TE Brandon Fulse is heading to minicamp with the Chicago Bears.
— Brady Fredericksen (@Brady_Fred) May 3, 2015
It's a long way from a mini-camp invite to an UDFA deal, but it's something. I had completely forgotten about Fulse, to be honest. We wish him the best of luck! He was under appreciated for the work he put in during the 2014 campaign. He was asked to fill the void left by Jay Prosch and he gave it as good a go as anyone could in the situation he was put in.
Jermaine Whitehead Agrees to Free Agent Deal With San Francisco 49ers
Former Auburn db/Greenwood's Jermaine Whitehead to join 49ers as undrafted free agent
— Stephen Robinson (@wxvtsports) May 3, 2015
I was wondering when Jermaine was going to sign. I didn't think there was any way he would get left fluttering in the wind. He really was an excellent Safety for us last season, and I can't help but wonder what might have been if his suspension had never happened. Good luck, Jermaine!
Robenson Therezie Signs Free Agent Deal With Atlanta Falcons
According to AL.com, Therezie's agent has confirmed the move. As a Falcons fan, I like it. I really hope Therezie earns a roster spot. The Falcons have some good DBs and drafted some more with this class. Good luck, Robenson.
Brandon King Signs Free Agent Deal With New England Patriots
Headbutts. https://t.co/balZgmJyoz
— Coach (@CMPunk) May 3, 2015
I have to be honest... I forgot about King. I wasn't even tracking him in my draft prospects list. I wish him the best of luck. He never saw playing time the way he wanted to at Auburn, but hopefully he proves us all wrong at the next level.
Quan Bray Signs Free Agent Deal With Indianapolis Colts

James Crepea with the scoop again! At least as far as I've seen he was the first with this news. Glad to see Quan catch on somewhere!

They just keep coming! I actually saw this one from multiple places. Jeffrey Lee from Rivals and James Crepea of Montgomery Advertiser in particular.
Corey Grant Signs Free Agent Deal With Jacksonville Jaguars
Looks like Jacksonville is going to pick up some Auburn fans: Corey Grant is headed to Jacksonville as an UFA. Nick Marshall already there.
— Ryan Black (@wareagleextra) May 2, 2015
Ryan Black with the report on this one. Good grief. Marshall, Denard Robinson, now Corey Grant? That's going to be a FAST team.
