In a game that had us nervous going in, Auburn bested Arkansas State with relative ease, claiming a 38-9 victory Saturday night at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Following the game, Auburn Athletics provided its weekly highlight reel.
It was a solid win for the Tigers, who kept the Red Wolves out of the end zone. Auburn's defense limited ASU to three field goals, extending its streak without allowing a touchdown to six quarters. The offense had a nice day, too, posting 468 yards, including 301 on the ground.
Auburn moved to 2-0 with the win, while Arkansas State fell to 1-1. The Tigers play again Saturday, Sept. 14, against Mississippi State. The Tigers and Bulldogs are set to kickoff from Jordan-Hare Stadium at 6 p.m. on ESPN2.
