Auburn vs. Arkansas set for 3 p.m. kickoff on SEC Network

The Tigers will open the 2014 campaign in the afternoon.

Auburn's season-opening game against Arkansas on Aug. 30 will kick off at 3 p.m. CT and air on the SEC Network, the conference announced Thursday. The broadcast team for the game has not yet been announced, but considering the rest of the day's action on the network -- Tennessee-Martin at Kentucky and Southern Miss at Mississippi State -- there's a good chance Brent Musburger and Jesse Palmer will be calling the action.

Auburn-Arkansas will be the fourth game on the network, and the second conference game. Texas A&M at South Carolina makes the network's live debut Thursday, Aug. 28 at 5 p.m.

Each SEC team will make an appearance on the network within the first four weeks of the season:
