4* LB Montavius Atkinson Signs with Auburn

Linebackers are a position of great need in this recruiting class given how few Auburn has recruited over the past few seasons with Ellis Johnson's 4-2-5 defense and the two most experienced players will be seniors this season. Montavious Atkinson should be a big help to the Tigers over the next few seasons.

Atkinson committed to the Tigers back in March of 2014, and there were some worries along the way as he took visits to other schools. In particular he took a number of unofficial visits to Tennessee. He saved his Auburn official visit for mid-January, and left 100% committed to the Tigers.

Atkinson chose Auburn over offers Georgia, Tennessee, Cincinnati, and East Carolina.
