It was pretty clear early this cycle that Auburn wanted at least one JUCO DB prospect in this class. Someone that could come in and contribute immediately, possibly even start if Noah Igbinoghene were to leave early. Auburn found that man in 4* CB Marco Domio.

Domio’s offer list is impressive. The Tigers beat out Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M and host of others for his pledge. LSU was believed to be the top team on the list for a time but when Domio’s family elected to drive 10 hours to attend Auburn’s War Eagle Picnic, it was obvious that Auburn was a team to take seriously. He committed not long after that trip and has been solid ever since.

I’m extremely high on Domio and think he’s got a shot to see a lot of playing time in 2020. He’s a big, physical CB at 6’2” 190 lbs who isn’t afraid of contact. It appears at Blinn he was asked to play a lot of zone coverage so it will be interesting to see how handles the switch to a more aggressive man scheme that Kevin Steele likes to run. But he’s got all the raw tools and skills to be a lockdown cover man for the Tigers.
War Eagle Marco!
