There have been plenty of this type of thing out there. My personal favorite at the moment is @RealTimeWWI which is live-tweeting the 100th anniversary of World War I. This one, though, is live-tweeting something much more recent and near and dear to the hearts of Auburn folks: the Cam Newton recruitment saga that popped up during Auburn's 2010 championship season.
